Brittin Fischer
Welcome
Through my studies at Governors State, I am developing essential skills such as persuasive writing, audience analysis, creative concept development, visual communication, media planning, digital advertising, public speaking, critical thinking, and strategic communication. These skills will allow me to achieve my goals of crafting compelling narratives that build brand identity, deeply understanding target audiences, and effectively managing marketing campaigns across various platforms. I aim to drive impactful brand awareness and positive customer engagement through creative and persuasive messaging.
With several years of experience in retail, I have a strong understanding of client relations, community collaboration, and teamwork. Additionally, my hands-on experience managing social media platforms, such as Instagram and Facebook, has given me practical insight into audience engagement and crafting messages that resonate with diverse followers.
I am confident that Governors State will equip me with the skills and knowledge needed to achieve my goals in communications. With this foundation, I look forward to a future where I can creatively and effectively contribute to brand storytelling and communication strategies in my career.
My name is Brittin Fischer, and I am from Bourbonnais, Illinois, a small town south of Chicago. I am a Communication Studies major with a focus on Strategic Communications at Governors State University. Before transferring to Governors State, I completed my associate’s degree at Kankakee Community College, where I discovered my interest in Communications. I have six years of work experience as a retail associate and two years as a social media manager. Because of this experience, I knew I wanted my education to focus on strategic communication.
